Today we are beginning a new mini-series of clipart images, this time they are present clipart or gift clipart. Of course, some people will be thinking that this series is late because Christmas is over. But Christmas is not the only time when we give gifts. We gives presents on birthdays, to say congratulations, to say thank you for a special favor, to show our love for someone, or many other reasons.

I like this image because of its striking red color which contrasts beautifully with the white ribbons. It`s a simple but effective image.

This green Christmas candle clipart is the sister image of the one I posted last time, which is almost identical to this one except that it is its mirror image, and the color of this one is green whereas the other one was red. But their shape and size is the same, so they may very well complement each other in various seasonal holiday designs.

Again, I apologize for getting this one up too late for the holiday season of 2011. But it will certainly be ready and waiting for those celebrating Christmas in 2012!

Ok ok, I admit that I was a bit late getting this clipart image up. This one (as well as the next candle image I will post soon) would have been perfect for Christmas, but I was so busy celebrating the Christmas season with my family that I forgot to upload this image. Oh well. By the time Christmas comes around next year, this page will already be found on search engines so people will easily find it next time. Of course, Christmas colors and red and green, and those colors make for great Christmas candles.

It`s not clear from the image which video game console the kids are playing, but they`re sure getting into it!

It`s a cute and pleasant image, but the problem with it is that it looks old. That could be good if your site or material has an intentionally retro feel, but it likely won`t match a sleek, modern site.

One topic that I`ve been neglecting for a while is video game clipart. The reason for that is pretty simple: it`s hard to find genuinely free video game clipart because of copyright and licensing issues. But I do have a couple, and I decided to share them with you.

One is this portable game console clipart. When I was a kid I had a "Game Boy" from Nintendo, which looked quite similar to this one. So this sparks up all kinds of nostalgia.

Of course this clipart is black and white, which seems incomplete. But that actually is better because it offers you the opportunity to decide the colors yourself.

Black Modem Clipart With Plug

Here is another black modem clipart image to add to our recent collection. This one is very simple and can be adapted easily, but it also has the wire and plug which could result in some cool images. For example, if you use this clipart to create a header or logo image, you could put text above the main console and have the plug sightly obscuring the text. That`s just one idea, but I`m sure you can think of lots more.

This clipart is black but it can still look good on darker backgrounds because of its thick contrasting border.

Portable Wireless Router Clipart

This portable wireless router clipart image is a personal favorite of mine because it looks just like the one I use with my netbook whenever I am working outside of the house or on a trip. In fact I am using it right now!

This router clipart is sleek and modern-looking, unlike some of the hokey-looking clipart images from the 1990s we sometimes get stuck with. The only problem with this image is that its white color and subtle shadowed border make it not really standout against a white background (as you can clearly see on this page). Therefore I recommend you use it on a darker background, or you adjust it to make its outer border darker to create more contrast.

Continuing with our sub-theme of wireless router clipart pics, today I bring you this white wireless router clip art image. This one, to my eyes, is too bland to use in its current form. When I first saw it I didn`t even notice what it is because it lacks detail. Only the antennas were a giveaway of the mystery item`s identity. But lately I`ve been preferring simple images because they are easier to customize or to create new images from. The only element of the image that might be hard to incorporate into an adapted image is the transmission waves eminating from the antennae. But those can be easily deleted and redrawn in an adapted image.

Today we`re continuing with our modem clipart miniseries. Today`s installment is a more detailed image than last time`s, this one featuring a number of lights and buttons that fill out the image a little bit. This one is a little more difficult to customize and adapt than the clipart I uploaded last time. But if you want a somewhat more "complete" looking image without having to add to it or adapt it, then maybe this one is a good choice for you.

The white color may also be what some other people are looking for. This will probably go well with websites with a colored background because it will stand out. The black modem clipart we looked at last time probably goes better with a white or light-colored background because that will help it stand out.

Today we`re returning to the general category of technology and computers with a short series on modem clipart. I decided to upload this one first because it`s so simple that it is versatile and can be used in creating a variety of logos or images, and can be easily adapted and modified.

I also like this one because it looks like a classic dialup modem, the kind I used to have when I was a kid. So it`s arouses a little nostalgia in me. I used to have a gray dialup modem very similar to this one.

Today I'm beginning a new series on pasta clipart, beginning with spaghetti clipart. These days I'm on a serious diet so I'm not eating spaghetti very often, but when my waistline was less of a concern I used to eat spaghetti at least once a week, that's how much I like it. There are countless variations on the spaghetti theme, even when you keep the same pasta base. You simply make some changes to the spaghetti sauce recipe. I'm a big fan of white cream sauce, but there are lots of great tomato-based sauces as well.

I know I know, these aren't really hot dogs. They're sausages. But there isn't much demand for a big sausage clipart series, so I thought I'd thrown these ones into the hot dog clip art category. Hot dogs bring me back all sorts of childhood memories. And sausages bring me all sorts of summer memories. Especially camping and summer camp, since those were times when we would eat lots of sausages for breakfast. These days I try to avoid them in favor of healthier foods, but I do splurge and give into temptation when on camping trips or having breakfast at a hotel buffet, etc.

But today's images are black and white hot dog clip art. These are great because you can color them anyway you want and make them uniquely yours.

Hot dogs are not the most nutritious food in the world. They're made from a mix of throwaway meat products and flavored with a little spice to make them taste like something! But a sizeable number of people found that page while searching for a different kind of image: computer mouse clipart. So today we decided to provide the other kind of mouse so that everybody can find the clipart they are looking for.

I personally love wireless computer mouses. Those are the best because they allow you to sit down and do work a little farther away from the computer screen. But I also like using the built-in touch mouse on my notebook mini-pc.

In yet another entry to our tools clipart theme, today I decided to add a small collection of plyers clipart images. I hope these are useful for your home improvement, handy work, or other wesbite. Anyone who has done any handy work or repair work has most certainly used plyers, as they are one of the handiest of all tools. You can use this simple little tool to manipulate the shape of wires, pieces of metal, snails, and more. Their uses really are endless.

But it does take a lot of practice to learn how to use them effectively. I still don`t have very good plyers technique, but it`s something I work on regularly as I do a lot of handy work.

In the last clip art entry I posted some hammer clipart. To compliment those hammer clip art images today I`m bringing you some nail clipart images. If you have a website about tools, handy work, or home improvement you may find these nail clip art pictures useful.

When I was a kid I used to go into my father`s tool box and play with all the stuff I could find, but I especially loved the nails. I would find scrap pieces of wood just so I could hammer the nails into them, then use the hammer to pull the nails back out and look at their newly warped shape. I though that was really cool! Because kids have to use pencils in elementary school before they learn to write with other utensils, since kids naturally make a lot of mistakes. I really like pens. Not just regular Bic pens that you buy in bulk or whatever, but high quality expensive pens. I love to collect them, hold them, put them on dispay, and sometimes even write with them!

Some of the coolest clipart to come by are school supplies clipart, including all the different tools you use at school like pencils. These days I almost always write notes by computer or text message, and when I have to write by hand I usually use a pen and use liquid paper to fix mistakes instead of an eraser. And I recieved several emails asking me why I don't have a full collection of school bus clipart on this site, so I decided to look around for some good ones to package together here.

I never rode the school bus to school when I was a kid. I lived nearby so I always walkd. But for a lot of kids the school bus is a big part of their school experience. They socialize and make friends on the bus, and depending on at what point in the route that they board the bus, they could be spending several hours a week on the school bus. And school buses are of course important for school field trips. They are essential for a complete school experience. That's what makes school bus clip art very potent symbols of children's education.

One of the most searched types of clipart is fish clip art. I haven't put so much fish clipart on this site until now, so today I decided to add some more fish images to meet the demand!

My hometown is a fishing village, so fish are very familiar to me. I used to go fishing with my family as a kid, taking home sockeye salmon and trout, and a lot of bullheads (a kind of fish you can't eat, so we would throw them back into the water). And now I live in Japan, known for its great seafood especially sushi, which is made of (usually) raw fish.

My favorite part of Christmas when I was a kid was always the candy canes. My parents would decorate the Christmas tree with ornaments and candy canes, but by the time Christmas day came there would be no candy canes left on the tree because I had eaten them all!

Once again Christmas is just around the corner, and people are starting to decorate their homes with special holiday items like holly, Christmas trees, and candy canes. But for Christian believers the one essential element is a nativity scene, because the original meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ. If you have ever been to Bethlehem like I have, then you can imagine the real surroundings of the manger and nativity scene. Bethlehem lies near Jerusalem amongst the rolling Judaen Hills. Muscle Man Clip Art

In today's entry I'm bringing you a few bodybuilder muscle man clip art images. I am deeply into weight training and have been since I was 14 years old. My goal has never been to be a huge bodybuilder like the guys in the clipart, but just to be fit and have a muscular, masculine build rather than being chubby and flabby. I used to work out at the gym 4 or 5 times a week, but these days my goals are more to cut and keep my body fat % low, so I work out at the gym just once a week, and go jogging another 3 or 4 times a week. Weight training is a fantastic form of sports and exercise to take up, even if you don't intend to turn yourself into a big bodybuilder.

When I was little, one of my most favorite animals at the zoo were flamingos. I used to watch them and try to copy the way they stand on one leg. And I used to wonder, "Are these really birds? Fire safety education is very important. Even before my children started going to school, I took them to the fire department just up the street from our house, so they could see what the fire men do and learn some tips from them. I am a former school teacher, so today's theme (teacher clipart) is very close to my heart! I'm getting all nostalgic looking at these cute images. I used to be a first grade and second grade teacher at an elementary school, and everyday I used the blackboard, occasionally kids gave me presents and snacks (though usually not apples), and I read books to the kids as part of our literacy curriculum. Check out these dog bone free clipart pics for pet owners. Why do dogs love chewing on bones so much? I have no idea. Maybe they like the taste. Maybe it's good for strengthening their teeth and gums. Maybe the minerals in the bones are healthy.

My dogs love chewing on rawhide bones from the pet shop. Some of those bones last for 2 or 3 weeks before they're all chewed up and eaten! I don't know how the dogs can wait so long to finish eating their snack. But they like them and always act excited when I come home with a new one for them!

The Bald Eagle was chosen as the national symbol of the United States in 1789. It was chosen as America's symbol because it is a potent symbol of power and independence. It is uncontrolled by anyone else, flying high in the sky above the world. As America had recently fought for and won its independence, such symbolism was very intoxicating for the young country. Not everybody agree with this choice of bird, however. Benjamin Franklin himself was strongly opposed to adopting the eagle as the symbol of American patriotism, preferring the Wild Turkey. Kids love Easter. Easter is a fun time to hunt for Easter eggs, eat chocolate bunnies, and the like. But a lot of people ignore the true meaning of Easter, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ was crucified on the cross, an event commemorated on Good Friday. Then on the third day, Christ was risen from the dead.

I hope that we can remind ourselves of the true meaning of Easter even while enjoying some of the secular traditions of the holiday. Happy Easter!

This is the second eagle theme that I have posted on this blog, but the first theme was of realistic eagles. Today's collection is of more cartoonish looking eagles to have a bit more fun with.

Eagles are cool and powerful animals, which I guess is why they make such cool characters in animation and cartoons. When I lived in Canada I would regularly see bald eagles in the trees or flying in the sky up above. They are amazing and majestic creatures. That's why kids love them. Hippie Clip Art

Hippies were people of a youth subculture that started in the United States in the early 1960s, becoming very popular in 1967 because of an event called the "Human Be-in" in San Francisco. The popularity of hippie subculture culminated in the infamous Woodstock Festival in 1969.

Hippies wore a unique fashion style including tie dye clothing, listened to psychadelic rock, formed collective hippie communities, practiced "free love", and used drugs such as marijuana and LSD. They preached a new age kind of philosophy of peace and love and spirituality. But I think that was just an excuse to party and engage in free love!!

Bloodshot eyes, spooky eyes, rolling eyes and peering eyes. These can give an eery feeling that your website is "being watched" or observed by some unknown character. My personal favorite eye clipart is the third one below, which shows an eye peering through a hole in the wall, or a whole in the computer screen! It works great on a page with a white background.

Rock Clipart

For today's nature and outdoors clip art theme I chose something that I don't see often online, so I thought this would be useful because of its rarity. Sometimes you need a rock clipart pic or some clipart stone images to create an outdoors or rugged atmosphere on your website. While uploading the stone and rock images I remembered the sword and the stone clip art at the bottom, and thought it would be a cool addition because it's taken from such a reminiscent story from my childhood!

Feel free to take some of these rocks, but don't throw them!

St Patricks Day Clip Art

St. Patrick's Day, or Saint Paddy's Day as its sometimes known, is the national holiday of the Republic of Ireland. It is also a huge celebration amongst people of Irish ancestry around the world, and also for anyone else who loves a good Irish-style frollicking.

Saint Patrick's Day celebrates the life of, you guessed it, St. Patrick! He is the Patron Saint of Ireland, credited with bringing Christianity to the heathen people of Ireland.

Today's celebrations have little to do with the saint himself, and more to do with drinking green beer, wearing durby hats, waving the Irish flag, getting wildly drunk, and wishing for luck with the four leaf clover.

Let's all celebrate on March 17! In honor of this special day, feel free to download a free St Patricks Day clip art and place it on your webpage.
